New WiBro operator for South Korea?

South Korea is mulling selecting a third operator to offer high-speed wireless internet services, after the country’s second largest broadband operator Hanaro Telecom returned its licence to the regulator earlier this month. Hanaro, along with SKT and KT, was awarded a WiBro concession in January, but Hanaro abandoned its after opting to focus instead on its core broadband operations.
