ETB to launch WiMAX in capital

Colombian telco Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogotá (ETB) has contracted US technology vendor Intel to implement a WiMAX pilot network in Colombian capital, Bogotá. The pilot programme is expected to begin next month, with results to be analysed in November.
