DoCoMo to reform board

11 May 2005

Japanese cellco NTT DoCoMo has revealed plans to implement a series of board reforms following its forthcoming ordinary general meeting in June. The company will halve the number of directors, and corporate officers will be appointed for one-year terms to strengthen board decisions. DoCoMo hopes that the changes will help it to hold on to its dominant position in the market in the face of increasing competition.
