A 41 year old man has been arrested in Japan on suspicion of leaking personal data of around 24,600 NTT DoCoMo mobile subscribers. Yoshitaka Takemura is a contract employee at DoCoMo and has been accused of obtaining mobile numbers and other personal data of the company’s customers earlier this year and then leaking it in an email. Takemura claims that he leaked the data in order to alert the company of a loophole in the system.
