Maltacom reports 2004 results

Maltacom has reported a MTL13.2 million pre-tax profit for the year ending 31 December 2004, down MTL8.6 million on the previous year’s figure. The fall however was principally the result of the sale of its 20% stake in Vodafone. Turnover for the year stood at MTL55.4 million, down MTL0.4 million; its fixed line operations generated 62% of the total, followed by wireless (29%), data (5%) and others (2%).
