MIC to cut 3G video call rates

South Korean regulator, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC), has approved a plan put forward by cellco SK Telecom (SKT) to cut the rates of 3G video calls by 70%. The operator, which hopes the price cut will help it to attract more subscribers, will lower its video call fees from KRW400 (USD0.39) to KRW120 (USD0.11) per ten seconds.
