Telespazio agrees Argentine-Chilean satellite tie-up

Satellite services provider Telespazio Argentina has agreed a deal with new Chilean ISP Telemag to offer broadband services via satellite technology to customers in the far south of Chile, according to BNamericas. The joint broadband offering will provide users with upload speeds of up to 1Mbps and maximum download speeds of 2Mbps, and will give access to services including videoconferencing, VPNs and VoIP telephony. Telemag has revealed plans to continue the cooperative project by introducing identical services to two other Chilean regions in the next few months.

Argentina, Chile
