Estonia’s dominant telco, Elion Enterprises, has signed a deal with French vendor Alcatel to deliver a fibre-to-the-user (FTTU) package comprising broadband data, voice and video services to residential subscribers. Network director Toivo Praakel said that Elion intends to offer triple play services in 2005 with the aim of extending its domestic customer base (which stood at 440,200 at the end of March 2004).
