Cablecentro aims to sign up half of client base to broadband

Cable operator Cablecentro is aiming to sign up 50% of its customer base to broadband internet services by the end of the year, according to BNamericas. The company won a licence to offer internet and IP telephony services last September and is preparing to launch broadband services to its 230,000 CATV users this week, spread across 35 towns and cities. Rival operator TV Cable has also revealed plans to launch VoIP services.
