18 Mar 2005

German fixed line operator QS Communications (QSC) has forged a partnership with Chinese infrastructure provider Huawei to roll out a next-generation IP network covering more than two hundred German towns and cities. QSC has its own network providing DSL services and claims to be the incumbent Deutsche Telekom’s principal competitor in the broadband access arena. It has built out a high density network covering 46 major cities, with access to a potential customer base of 20 million, including about half a million businesses. The company has its principle focus on integrated communications for corporate customers, including a range of managed VPN solutions.
