Sharp jump in profit for Telekom Malaysia

25 Feb 2005

Telekom Malaysia has announced that its net income last year rose by 87.9% to MYR2.61 billion (USD687 million). The company attributes the jump in profit to increasing revenues from its mobile arm and the sale of its remaining stake in South Africa’s Telkom in Q4.
