Hutch to roll out 3G in Vietnam

Hutchison has revealed plans to build a 3G network in Vietnam, which it will operate jointly with Hanoi Telecom. The CDMA2000 network, which will cost around USD650 million to roll out, is expected to be operational by the second quarter of the year; the company hopes to have signed up around 2.9 million subscribers within the next ten years.
