H3G Access selects Ericsson to manage multi-unit messaging

H3G Access has chosen Ericsson to provide it with an integrated multi-unit messaging solution under a managed service agreement between the pair. Under the terms of the five-year deal, the vendor will provide solutions for voicemail, SMS, MMS, unified messaging, email and video gateway on 3’s W-CDMA network in its operational markets of Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The deal also includes the option of providing a similar service in Finland. Hutch claimed 350,000 Scandinavian users at the end of December 2004.
