BT picks up seven-year Barclays deal

The UK’s incumbent telecoms operator BT has won a GBP500 million, seven-year deal to provide communications network services to Barclays Bank plc. Under the terms of the deal BT will maintain the bank’s wide-area and LAN networks, as well as handle a full range of voice services.
