Tiscali doubles ADSL base in 2004

16 Feb 2005

Italy’s Tiscali posted a 16% rise in revenues in the three months to 31 December 2004 to USD345.9 million, and reported double-digit growth for the full year on the back of a near 100% increase in its broadband ADSL subscriber base to 1.65 million. By contrast, the company’s dial-up base is shrinking: it reported 5.7 million customers at the end of December 2004, and the figure is set to decrease as Tiscali migrates users to broadband services.
