T-Mobile launches pilot 3G network

Hungarian cellco T-Mobile Hungary (formerly Westel Mobile) has launched a pilot 3G network to test the next-generation technology. The company has contracted Swedish equipment supplier Ericsson to build its commercial network, which it hopes to launch in Budapest by the end of the year.
