Gambia’s dominant telco GamTel has contracted IT provider Cerillion Technologies to upgrade its billing system as part of an expansion programme which includes a planned 250,000 new phone lines. Cerillion will migrate more than 200,000 existing fixed and mobile subscribers to the new system, which will form a converged billing and CRM solution, serving customers of GamTel and its wholly owned mobile subsidiary Gamcel.
