TSTT unveils capex plans

Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) has said that it plans to spend USD500 million to extend the reach of its GSM network and introduce a raft of new services. TSTT has been continuously expanding the network since its launch in 2003 and over the next year plans to implement a new billing system, expand the availability of its GPRS offering, launch a number of new multimedia services, and introduce international SMS and roaming services for pre-paid and GPRS users.
