SmarTone announces 3G launch

Hong Kong cellco SmarTone has launched a commercial 3G network service in the special administrative region. The company’s service, called SmarTone PC Connect, offers subscribers a high speed 3G/GPRS datacard and access to a broad range of business and e-mail applications.
