7 Dec 2004

Etapa Movil, the wireless joint venture between Telecsa and Etapatelecom which launched its wireless service at the end of October, has announced that it has signed up 3,000 customers in its first month of operation and expects to have a base of 10,000 by the end of January. The company claims its popularity is based on the fact that pre-paid cards are valid for a period of one year and that all text messages until 2005 are free.
