E-Plus looking for MVNOs

7 Dec 2004

German mobile operator E-Plus has said it is planning to sell excess capacity on its network to MVNOs in a bid to return the company to net profit. To this end, it claims to be in talks with a number of interested parties, although the operator has not ruled out the possibility of creating an MVNO of its own. E-Plus’ management is keen to add new contract clients, particularly in the business sector. Approximately 51% of its current 9.065 million customers are on a contract, compared to 47% at the end of 2003.
