Unions warn Telstra employees of privatisation

22 Nov 2004

The Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union is urging Telstra’s union members to be wary of privatisation by highlighting the fact that the company has slashed 40,000 jobs since 1996. The union, which represents around 30,000 Telstra employees, is planning to launch a campaign against possible privatisation job losses before Christmas.
