Telecom responds to TelstraClear launch

3 Nov 2004

New Zealand’s dominant telecoms operator Telecom has announced changes to its business tariff packages for SMEs, just days after TelstraClear launched its residential phone plans in the country. The incumbent is targeting small firms with cheap calls such as its subscription-based Businesstime package which allows SMEs to make calls for no more than NZD0.50 an hour, or calls to Telecom mobiles for NZD1 per hour.
