The Venezuelan division of regional operator Impsat has revealed that it expects its revenues to increase by around USD2 million in 2005, thanks to the launch of a new satellite service, Direct IP, which enables areas which could not previously receive telephony services to be connected to its network. The company said it expects Direct IP to account for around 6% of its revenues in 2005.
