FT fined for ‘uncompetitive’ behaviour

France Telecom (FT) has been fined EUR18 million by the French competition authority for ‘uncompetitive’ fixed to mobile call tariffs. The Conseil de la Concurrence also ruled that SFR, the mobile arm of Vivendi Universal, will be penalised EUR2 million for the same reasons. FT said it plans to appeal against the fine.
