Push-to-Talk launched in Taiwan

Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom has become the latest operator in the Asia-Pacific region to launch commercial Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) services, after the completion of a supply contract by Motorola. The deal means Motorola now has 18 contracts with cellcos in 23 countries to supply PoC infrastructure solutions for both CDMA2000 1X and GSM/GPRS networks.
