TSTT reveals USD112 million network investment plan

Trinidad’s fixed line incumbent TSTT says it plans to spend USD112 million over the period 2004/05 to modernise and expand its network, and deliver improvements in service quality to customers. The company hopes to deploy new mobile, fixed line and wireless technologies, with a particular focus on ramping up its mobile arm. TSTT chief executive Bernard Mitchell said his company had earmarked 33% of total 2004 expenditure for beefing up the company’s GSM network.
