Iusacell’s CDMA subscribers embrace data services

Iusacell of Mexico says that since it launched a CDMA-based 3G service in July this year the number of data downloads has expanded by 800% as subscribers embrace the new services on offer. The offering, which is based on Qualcomm’s BREW platform, enables Iusacell users to send and receive data-intensive multimedia applications, such as ringtones, wallpaper and chatting services.
