Kingston Communications has completed the acquisition of Exeter-based ISP Eclipse Networking for an initial GBP12.5 million, as part of its strategy of accelerating growth in its broadband business. Kingston paid GBP9.5 million in cash and GBP3 million in new shares upfront, and has agreed an additional consideration of GBP1.4 million if certain customer acquisition targets are met. The addition of Eclipse will add around 20,000 broadband users to Kingston’s customer base, taking it to around 55,000.
