Bharti will not sell shares to foreigners

Bharti Tele-Ventures has announced that it will not sell shares to foreign investors at the moment, claiming that it already has a significant number of foreign shareholders, including SingTel which holds a 28.46% stake and private-equity firm Warburg Pincus with a 15.17% stake. The operator said it currently has enough cash to fund its expansion, but would be looking to sell to foreign investors in the future.
