Technical problems delay Telecom’s wholesale broadband service

16 Sep 2004

Telecom NZ is struggling to meet its self-imposed deadline for the rollout of its wholesale high speed internet service, according to The New Zealand Herald. The telco’s unbundled bitstream service is due to be introduced by the end of this month, but now looks unlikely to hit the market until November at the earliest due to unspecified technical difficulties. Telecom says it plans to offer an interim solution to providers until the full service is available.
