ZTE signs MoU

ZTE has signed an MoU with the Nigeria-China Business and Investment Forum which will see the Chinese equipment manufacturer invest up to USD100 million in the country. The deal is reported to cover investment in a GSM handset manufacturing plant, as well as the production of SIM cards. ZTE is also reported to have stated an interest in purchasing shares in NITEL when it is privatised.
