DT considers bringing T-Online back into the fold

7 Sep 2004

German incumbent Deutsche Telekom (DT) is said to be considering a move to reincorporate its internet division T-Online, four years after floating the business in 2000. The German heavyweight, which owns 74% of T-Online, is said to be weighing up two possible options to re-absorb its internet arm: to buy T-Online shares for either cash or Telekom shares. It is, however, remaining tight-lipped over the move and has said it could yet maintain the status quo.
