Further delays for Nortel results

Canadian equipment supplier Nortel Networks has revealed that there will be a further delay in the publication of its financial results for the last three and a half years. The company, which has been accused of irregularities in its accounting methods, said that it hoped to publish the statements by the end of September. It has also indicated that it may postpone its 2004 annual meeting until next year.
