Tiscali has struck a deal with domestic internet service provider (ISP) MWEB, owned by MWEB Holdings, to sell its own South African ISP Tiscali Limited for ZAR320 million (EUR40 million). The deal, which is subject to the approval of the country’s competition authority, does not include Tiscali’s cellular assets which are expected to be sold off separately before the end of the year. Tiscali is selling the operations as part of a new focus on developing businesses in its core markets.
