SK Telecom reports three million EV-DO subscribers

The number of people signed up to SK Telecom’s (SKT’s) high speed CMDA 1xEV-DO mobile network has broken the three million barrier, 20 months after the service was introduced in South Korea. The cellco expects the figure to climb to four million by the end of the year. SKT’s main rival KTF Corp reported 780,000 EV-DO users at the end of July.
