Hungarian regulator the National Telecommunications Authority (NHH) has announced that all three of the country’s mobile operators – T-Mobile, Pannon GSM and Vodafone – have significant market power (SMP) in the call termination arena. The move follows a series of market analyses of the fixed line and mobile markets. Previously only Pannon and T-Mobile were deemed to have SMP. The new classification will mean that Vodafone will have to determine its prices based on costs and submit them for approval to the NHH from 1 January 2005.
