3G test date put back three months

26 Jul 2004

The Infocomm Development Authority has relaxed its 3G rollout requirements slightly by moving the deadline date for its technical testing of the start-up networks back by three months to the end of March 2005. The three licensees – SingTel Mobile, MobileOne and StarHub – must have their 3G services available by the end of this year, but will now have the first quarter of 2005 to iron out any technological problems.
