Telstra launches push-to-talk

Telstra has launched a push-to-talk service over its GSM network. The service, which makes use of GPRS technology, will be offered free of charge until 30 September, with a limit of 500 minutes per month. After the introductory period the service will be charged at AUD0.01 per second for person-to-person calls and AUD0.02 per second for person to group calls. The pricing plans include AUD50 per month unlimited usage.
