Broadband booms in April

UK telecoms regulator Ofcom has revealed that broadband connections in the country stood at 3.99 million at the end of April, accounting for 15% of total homes, with 2.45 million being DSL connections and 1.54 million being cable modem connections. Around 53% of the population (13 million households) had internet access at home, of which 67% were connected using narrowband.
