Jamba! serves several million subscribers in nine European countries through distribution agreements with the likes of Vodafone, T-Mobile and KPN, and has also built a content library of over 50,000 individual products. The purchase is part of VeriSign’s ‘Communications Services Intelligent Communication, Commerce and Content (IC3)’ strategy. The company says that as a result of the acquisition it will have agreements with 13 European carriers and sourcing arrangements with more than 180 content providers.
