AT&T to sell Canadian wireless shares

AT&T Wireless has said that it is planning to sell its 33% stake in Canada’s Rogers Wireless and has given the cellco’s majority shareholder Rogers Communications the first option to buy. The latter currently owns 56% of Rogers Wireless and has 21 days to reply to the offer, after which time AT&T Wireless has 60 days to sell the shares to third parties.
