Communitel consortium to up stake in SNO

A consortium led by telco Communitel is expected to purchase the government’s 25% stake in the country’s second national operator (SNO) to take its holding in the company to 38%, making it the largest single shareholder. The proposal has not yet been accepted by the government, although the two parties are currently involved in talks.
