Banks to offer mobile top-up services via ATM

22 Mar 2004

From 22 April customers of some of the UK’s main high street banks will be able to buy mobile pre-pay top-up vouchers from automated teller machines (ATMs). Initially the service will be installed at 7,000 cash machines belonging to Natwest, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Coutts, The One Account (Virgin) and the Co-operative Bank, although banks and building societies belonging to the Link Network are set to follow suit within a few months.
