Nokia 3G handsets provide much needed fillip for 3 UK

15 Mar 2004

Hutchison 3G UK has said that it is currently selling over 8,000 Nokia 7600 third-generation enabled handsets per week via the Carphone Warehouse chain. The operator, which in its short existence has been wracked by problems with handset reliability, network coverage and customer care issues, claims that it is now signing up more new customers on a weekly basis with the Carphone Warehouse chain than any of the UK’s four incumbent mobile operators.
