Versatel targets half a million DSL customers

The chief executive of Amsterdam-based broadband service provider Versatel has said that his company is aiming for 500,000 DSL customers across its operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany by the end of 2005, up from the current level of 238,000. At the end of 2003 Versatel’s Dutch subsidiary Zon had 104,500 DSL subscribers.
