Vivo: same again in 2004

Brazilian wireless operator Brasilcel – the Telefonica/Portugal Telecom joint venture which operates under the brand Vivo – has announced that it expects its subscriber base to grow by around 30% in 2004, matching the rate it achieved in 2003. At the end of 2003 Brasilcel claimed 20.7 million customers, giving it a market share of around 45%.
