Polish wireless operator Centertel has reported a 31% increase in revenues to PLN4.53 billion for the twelve months ended 31 December 2003. At the end of the year Centertel, backed by TP SA and France Télécom, claimed 5.7 million customers up from 4.48 million a year earlier, giving it a market share of 33%. Blended monthly ARPU dipped from PLN73.3 to PLN70.9 during the course of the year; post-paid ARPU fell marginally to PLN130 while the figure dipped to PLN30.2 for pre-paid customers. Minutes of use per subscriber fell to 59.6 a month, down from 66.4 a year earlier; the figure for pre-paid and post-paid customers were PLN24.5 and PLN124.6 respectively. Subscriber acquisition costs rose to PLN397.50 from PLN 346.60 the year before.
