812,359 installed lines for Andinatel

According to Ecuadorian telecoms regulator Suptel, state-owned operator Andinatel has installed a total of 812,359 lines in the country. The company provides services in Bolivar, Carchi, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Esmeraldas, Imbabura, Napo, Orellana, Pastaza, Pichincha, Sucumbios and Tungurahua, covering a population of 5.2 million. The penetration rate in its operating regions stands at around 15.8%.
