New GSM operator orders convergent billing software

Russian mobile operator OJSC Novgorodskie Telecommunications, a wholly owned subsidiary of US firm MCT Corporation, has ordered call centre and convergent billing equipment from local firm Bercut and China’s Huawei Technologies for the new GSM network it is installing in Novgorod. Delivery and installation of the CliQ callcenter, CaReM service platform and In@Voice billing software will begin late next month. OJSC Novgorodskie Telecommunications will launch Novgorod’s fourth GSM network under the banner Indigo.
